My name is Rachel.

On a cold March day in 2009 I got on my knees and said, “Okay Jesus – you have my heart. Do what you will.” The adventure awaiting my surrender was beyond even my author imagination. I hope to share that story with you in the pages of this blog – we’re barely out of the gate.

I was born and raised in the heart of Minnesota and I think deep down I’ll always be a “Sota Girl.” But I’ve always been one for adventure and so far that’s meant being ready and willing to go where God calls.

After spending the first 4 years of our marriage (and adding two kids!) in Taiwan, my husband Travis and I have moved to Williston, North Dakota to raise our family and see what God has for us here.
